Desert Heat: Fresno Peppers and Eggplant

Fresno pepper and roasted eggplant appetizer inspired by the bold flavors of Southwestern cuisine.

What a fine hors d'oeuvre right?

Roasted and charred Fresno pepper prepared as a Southwest-inspired ingredient or appetizer.

Eggplant Wrapped Fresno Peppers🔺🔻🔺🔻

••• Ingredients: Eggplant, Fresno peppers.

••• Seasonings: Herbs & spices including sage, smoked paprika, & white pepper to give it that smoky taste.

••• Instructions: Bake the Fresno peppers. I used the leftover eggplant skins from another recipe, then oiled, spiced & fried them until crispy. Once cooled, I wrapped them around the peppers.

✦ ✦ This is one of my fave appetizers to make. Very good.
