For much of my existence, I’ve gone on and on about a sanctuary ~ homestead ~ hideaway ~ fortress… yada yada. I’ve dilly dallied, day dreamed, hopped and skipped through life plenty but my passion for animals, along with my passion for the desert has always remained constant. It’s a rough, wild world we’re in but owning a few acres (five) to escape into makes it a tad more doable. Besides the abode on the property, it’s Wild West-desolate and will remain that way other than adding a few structures for the animals and fencing.
